I just always wanted a gold bangle as I admire them on others. It is very small so I leave it on all the time, even to sleep and shower. I can take it off but it's not easy. The only time it comes off is through airport security :)

And my wedding set is very simple, white gold with a solitaire diamond.

I don't have that much jewellery, but I will do an accessories video which will have jewellery too.

Thanks for watching!Fiona Ferrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01493105915055099408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130537499074859934.post-11927091289388574342017-04-16T01:14:36.453+12:002017-04-16T01:14:36.453+12:00I'm going to watch this later when I get on th...I'm going to watch this later when I get on the treadmill! I found it a bit harder to apply on my skin than L'Oréal Age Perfect which I've been using for years, but would like a moisturizer which also protects against the sun. I have a serum (Vichy) which was in a pack of goodies from a magazine, and while I've used it under my moisturizer, I really can't see or feel any difference. It's all oils now, serums are so last year, dahling, ha ha! I think these companies keep on producing things for us to buy and whether they do any good remains to be seen (or not!) They are simply ways of making money, are they not? A good moisturizer and a decent foundation - what more do we need?
Margaret P galanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14190356279359463949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130537499074859934.post-87289249448777178462017-04-09T13:15:31.366+12:002017-04-09T13:15:31.366+12:00Hi Fiona, That was a terrific video! Sometimes I really can't be bothered - often in fact, if I am not going anywhere, but I have to remind myself that it doesn't take long to put the tiniest amount on and it always makes me feel good.

I have a Covergirl mascara at the moment (Lashblast Volume) and it has short, almost rubbery bristles which means I don't get the mascara everywhere. New mascaras can be a disaster when they are wet and plentiful!

I don't find that my mascara drops though. I dust my eyes lightly with loose powder after applying foundation, so maybe this drier base doesn't attract mascara as it would if my skin was more moist?

Personally I don't like waterproof mascara as it feels like I am pulling my eyelashes out trying to wash it off. I use micellar water on a cotton pad to take my normal non-waterproof mascara off, and then use cleansing lotion and a tissue for the rest of my makeup (then a basin for of hot water and a flannel).Fiona Ferrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01493105915055099408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130537499074859934.post-66948711180631919422017-04-08T15:46:57.747+12:002017-04-08T15:46:57.747+12:00Hi Margaret, I use moisturiser but no serum or pri...Hi Margaret, I use moisturiser but no serum or primer. So I have my eyelashes tinted. It costs $20-25 (in Australia) and you have it done about every six weeks (but I have left it up to three months). I use the blue/black dye as my hair is brown and my brows quite dark. Other coloured dyes are available. I cleanse my face every night and am also a regular swimmer so my lashes are subjected to this and the tint survives. You can also buy kits from pharmacies (drugstores in USA) to do it yourself, which I did about a month ago with the help of YouTube video tutorials. But for first few times I would suggest finding a good beautician by word-of-mouth. With my brows freshly waxed and lashes tinted I feel about three inches taller :)))Laranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130537499074859934.post-90745742846189718602017-04-08T09:17:37.637+12:002017-04-08T09:17:37.637+12:00Fiona, Jennifer L. It feels more modern for me right now not to use it, I don't know why.

Yes, I have highlights currently, very fine and natural, bleach only. I go 3 or 4 times a year and ask the hairdresser to do it very sparingly so I don't have an obvious regrowth line.

I did have quite a few years without any colour, but I am enjoying highlights for now (mostly a half-head, with the very occasional full-head).

My natural hair colour is warm-toned, and with greys being cool-toned, I find a few highlights helps mix everything up and blend cool and warm nicely.

Because I don't have many highlights, my hair still feels healthy when I wash it. I remember when I had my hair fully bleached as a teen (if you can't do it then, when can you, but my mother was furious), it felt like rope when I washed it.

I don't buy expensive conditioning treatments, but I do apply coconut oil to the mid-lengths and ends of my hair at least once a week before I wash my hair. A hairdresser put me onto this and said he tells all his clients to do it. Then he asked if I wanted to buy the $30 conditioning treatment. Um, no thanks, I'll just get the $5 coconut oil from the supermarket (I didn't say the last bit though, just the 'no thanks')Fiona Ferrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01493105915055099408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4130537499074859934.post-47830161243468883712017-04-08T06:54:49.933+12:002017-04-08T06:54:49.933+12:00Thank you for sharing your makeup routine, D.
